Our Story
Our owners, Jen and Katherine met seven years ago when Jen was referred to Katherine for massage. What happened next? Katherine began taking Jen’s group fitness classes. As practitioners, both women want to help as many people as they can, but as a massage therapist, it can get very taxing on your body. Katherine’s son, Cooper, suggested she get other therapists to work for her so she could help more people without over-working herself.
The more she thought about it, the more it made sense.
As the two women became friends, they began to share their goals with each other. Jen said she had been looking to do something more with her fitness and nutritional coaching services. Joining forces seemed to be a ‘no-brainer.”
Together, they knew they could help more people feel better, and the idea of JeKa Wellness Center was born. There is nothing else quite like JeKa in South County and this community has a large focus on healthy living, JeKa is providing that in one place.
Jen and Katherine believe your wellness is within your reach and hope all JeKa clients will find a pathway to wellness, well-being and worth. They want you to gain an enhanced quality of life through their convenient, affordable, and holistic therapies.
Their vision for the years to come is to continue to understand the needs of their community and help as many people as possible by making wellness a part of everyday life. After living in South County for many years, they recognize and admire the community’s focus on healthy living. And JeKa is here to help. JeKa is a one-stop location that uses wellness to treat the root cause of issues, rather than medicine or surgery. Jen and Katherine want to make wellness convenient for all who live here.
